WHAT’S IT MEAN TO VOLUNTEER WITH DOGPAW?

Volunteer information for DOGPAW, for those looking to volunteer with a non-profit organization that relies on donations and paid memberships to survive.  These volunteer positions are open to individuals, in good standing with DOGPAW, who wish to further our mission.

Mission: To work with dog owners and the community at large to promote awareness and acceptance and to increase the availability of safe off-leash areas for dogs in Clark County.

The Board, Park Management, etc is comprised of volunteers who receive no compensation (other than reasonable expenses) and will not be covered for health or unemployment insurance, etc.

  • Physical work at work parties: dig, rake bark, wheelbarrow, shovel, pick up poop, fill holes, fix fencing and gates
  • Non-physical work at work parties: assist at gates, clean up kiosks, sign run supplies, sign up volunteers, pick up poop, take pics
