DOGPAW Education and Training ::.
For a safe and fun visit at the park, read our "Rules and Tips" page. There you'll find that we suggest reading a book "Visiting the Dog Park" and many other helpful tips. Also, be sure to check out what the Veterinarian has to say about "having a safe dog park visit".

Have a safe, fun, visit!
DOGPAW Safety Task Force (STF) ::.
In an effort to make our off-leash areas cleaner and safer, we've created a Safety Task Force. We plan to work with VPD, Clark Co Animal Control, trainers, and dog park users. Our goal is to educate folks on dog park safety and attack prevention.

We've already held our first FREE class called "Watch Your Lab, Not Your Latte!"
and our first DOGPAW Safety Task Force Meeting.

If you want to join the Safety Task Force, please contact our STF Chair.

Thank you!
DOGPAW Incident ::.
What should you do, when you experience a dog park problem? Send your incident details to muttley@clarkdogpaw.org. Please note that DOGPAW and/or the authorities may wish to see any evidence related to an incident.

You can take a picture with your camera phone and provide details:
  • License Plate
  • Witness Names and Numbers
Providing a license plate number will assist authorities with identification. Politely, safely, help each other and let DOGPAW know what's going on. Remember, if you remain anonymous or refuse to file a report with authorities, very little can be done about the situation. Victims and witnesses must file their own reports - nobody else can do it for you. So, please visit our contact page for frequently requested contacts.

Thank you for your input - it's greatly appreciated and assists us in maintaining a fun, safe, dog park!
