Subject: [DOGPAW] Pacific Park construction news

Dog Lovers,

We have been notified by Parks and Rec that the construction of Pacific will 
begin on Monday Feb 5th by Thompson Brothers Excavating.  A contractor from 
Parks and Rec will be in the park this week Wed-Fri (Jan 24-26th) repairing the 
fence around what will be the 4 acre temporary off leash space.  The gate to 
the field will remain unlocked until Monday  Feb 5th, but first thing that 
morning it will be secured and until approximately June of 2008 the off leash 
space at Pacific will be confined to the 4 acres in the southwest corner near the 
main entrance.  It is estimated that in June of 2008 we will move into our 
permanent 8 acre site on the north side of the park.

If having off leash space is important to you and your dog we encourage you 
to attend the Dogpaw meeting on Feb 1st at 7pm at the Clark co training center 
at 11606 NE 66th Circle Suite 103.  We will have elected officials and 
representatives from the agencies that are responsible for the future of our 
community.

This is the time for dog owners to speak up and get involved.

Let's pack the house at the meeting on Feb 1st!!!!
