Subject: [DOGPAW] Dakota Memorial Fund

Dog lovers,
 
Thanks to those of you who have sent in donations for the Dakota fund.  
Please keep them coming, Dogpaw wants to be able to give a nice big check to the 
Vancouver Police K-9 fund.  If you are mailing a check, it needs to be sent by 
November 5th and on line donations can be done on our web site 
_www.clarkdogpaw.org_ (http://www.clarkdogpaw.org)  through November 8th.
 
The Vancouver Police department is holding a memorial for Dakota on Monday, 
November 5th at 5pm at the Fort Vancouver High School auditorium at 5700 E. 
18th Street.  The ceremony is open to the public.
 
Also, Dogpaw is proud to announce that we are moving forward with plans to 
name the new off leash park at Pacific park, which will open in June 2008, in 
honor of Dakota.  There will be a memorial plaque at both entrances, 
acknowledging the contribution of this amazing dog to our community.
