A head count is needed for a couple of them: Event Planning Committee - For the Dakota Memorial Park - 1st Planning meeting is set for April 10, at the Clark County PUD community room on the corner of Padden Parkway, and NE 117th. This meeting starts at 7PM. Contact Julie Mills at millsmj@comcast.net. Membership Drive - at Ross park on March 22, 10-5. Volunteers needed to run the table inside the park. DOGPAW will have thier info/membership booth at Esther short park May 3rd - info and sign up - jeanh@clarkdogpaw.org DOGPAW Safety Task Force Meeting - March 25, 5:30 PM Room 433 at the Public Works department 1300 Franklin Street, Vancouver. Contact Heather Watkins heatherw@clarkdogpaw.org THIS IS AN RSVP event - must have a head count before hand. Watch your Lab, not your latte - a class for park users. This class covers topics such as aggression, gate manners, and park clumping. The class is held at Everything in the Ark, 2613 NE 114th Ave, Bldg N, Suite 1. This class is FREE TO MEMBERS. Please RSVP to Heather Watkins, heatherw@clarkdogpaw.org. No dogs at this class please. We are also calling out to members who would like to assist with building structures for the new Dakota Park. Please contact Pam or Julie if you have materials/tools, or just would like to get involved. Thankfully, we just got approved for the plans at Ross! We are beginning construction on the small dog area at Ross hopefully next week. If you would like to lend a hand, or have materials to donate, please contact Norm Neely, nneely@netzero.net. Norm is a volunteer, and will need some help on this. Spring is getting off to a busy start!
